REGISTRATION is at a different location to the start

Following the briefing we will proceed to the run start

START for this event will be at the lay-by for the Flamingo Sanctuary on Ras Al Khor Road

Stage 1 - 5.7km - Flamingo Sanctuary to Al Jadaf Creekside (Registration Point)

The start of the event is at the path leading to the Flamingo viewing gallery.

This is at the lay-by on the Ras Al Khor (Hatta) Road at the head of the Creek.

Follow the hard sand track beside the fence that borders the Creek.

Keep to this track until reaching the next lay-by.

After this point the ground becomes a little uneven so pick your way through, but continue keeping the fence on your right.

A little further along the fence turns hard right.

Turn right and follow the trail marked with orange paint (on rocks).

The track continues between the Creek and the new Business Bay canal.

The best route is along the edge of the canal.

Continue to the sand bridge.

Turn left over the sand bridge and then at the end, turn right.

Follow the edge of the canal to the changeover point.

Change over is at the registration point.
